WHAT IS GOOGLE PLACES

Google Places is the business listing page contained in Google’s Maps.

Location based search results on Google, accompanied by a map of the region where that business
is located.

Google Places shows where the local location search results are based on  either:

• The Business Type and Location Area you are searching for.eg:Dentist (Business Type) Sydney (Location)
• If just Business type. All those business located near the area your computer is searching from.

Google Places appears at the top of the search results when you search for that business type.

If you get a Google Places listing,it is another way to advertise your business.
